Organizing on the Local Level
The Bilerco Project posted an article about creating change on the local level.
While state and federal protections cover larger segments of the population, changes at the local level cannot be overlooked, especially when they can build towards change at higher levels of government.

- Adding non-discrimination clauses to city contracts.
- Review ordinances to the word "family" to include LGBT families.
- City recognition and participation of pride events.
