Planned Parenthood of the Heartland is now offering Hormone Therapy Services to the Transgender Community!

I’ve lived in the Lincoln community for 13 years and have marveled at the positive changes I’ve seen surrounding the treatment of the LGBT community. I’m proud to be employed by an organization that wants to be a part of that change. As of January 13th, Planned Parenthood has begun offering an expansion of services to the transgender community at our “O” Street Clinic in Lincoln.

We now offer hormone therapy and testing in addition to the routine preventative care and STI testing that we provide to all our clients. Combining years of experience with hours of staff training, we can safely say that the community will receive trusted and competent care at our clinic.

We believe at Planned Parenthood that our staff are uniquely able to offer the compassionate, quality care that transgender clients need in an atmosphere of respect and privacy. With the knowledge of our program director and clinician along with extensive training of our staff, we are elated to roll out this extremely important service.
